We partnered with the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative (DC Collaborative), a member service organization dedicated to strengthening Washington, D.C.’s creative and educational community, to reimagine their brand and digital presence. Guided by their mission to support culturally responsive education, professional development, and collective impact through the arts and humanities, we developed a bold, modern visual identity rooted in connection and collaboration. From a geometric logo system symbolizing the organization’s core pillars to a refreshed color palette, subsidiary program branding, and a fully redesigned website, every element was crafted to better serve their network and amplify their impact across the community.

We began by reimagining DC Collaborative’s visual identity, creating a logo system rooted in the organization’s core pillars and collaborative spirit. Using geometric forms and overlapping circles, the mark represents connection, shared impact, and the layered nature of arts and humanities education. Paired with a clean, modern typeface and an energetic color palette, the refreshed branding strikes a balance between bold expression and approachability. These elements were extended across subsidiary program logos and supporting brand assets, ensuring consistency, flexibility, and cohesion across the entire organization.

With the new brand in place, we redesigned DC Collaborative’s website to serve as an intuitive, accessible hub for its diverse network of members and programs. The experience was designed to clearly communicate the organization’s mission, resources, and initiatives while guiding users through a content-rich platform with ease. Thoughtful layouts, bold typography, and engaging visual elements bring clarity to complex information, creating a welcoming digital experience that supports education, collaboration, and collective impact.
