Creating a New Look for a National Nonprofit
RE-DESIGNING THE AMERICAN KIDNEY FUND'S EVENT PRESENCE
We partnered with the American Kidney Fund to design a cohesive event branding system that communicates impact, credibility, and compassion at scale. As a leading nonprofit supporting more than 35 million Americans living with kidney disease, their visual presence needed to reflect both authority and empathy across every touchpoint. Our team delivered strategic graphic design and environmental branding tailored for high-traffic events, ensuring consistency across booth design, printed materials, and promotional assets.
The American Kidney Fund regularly participates in large-scale events where visibility, clarity, and trust are critical. Their materials needed to stand out in crowded event and conference environments, communicate complex healthcare messaging quickly and effectively, maintain brand consistency across multiple print and display formats, and balance professionalism with a human-centered, approachable tone. The challenge was translating a mission-driven healthcare organization into a clear, compelling, and scalable visual system for live events.

Our Approach
We developed a unified event branding system designed to perform across physical environments while remaining instantly recognizable. Our approach included creating a consistent visual identity across all event materials, optimizing typography, layout, and hierarchy for readability at distance, designing with real-world conditions in mind—lighting, scale, movement—and aligning all creative with the organization's mission and audience needs. This ensured every asset worked together as part of a cohesive, high-impact brand experience.


Booth Design, Signage & Print Collateral
Execution
We designed a full suite of custom event and marketing materials, including custom booth design and large-scale display signage, branded environmental graphics for event spaces, program books and editorial-style print collateral, flyers and promotional marketing materials, and supporting visual assets for on-site engagement. Each deliverable was designed to function independently while reinforcing a consistent and professional brand presence across all touchpoints.
