Improving the Washington, D.C. community, DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative (DC Collaborative) is a member service organization that provides programs and experiences within a culturally appropriate curriculum. This includes education support, professional development workshops, and collective impact efforts, all equipped in an arts and humanities network.

DC Collaborative came to us in search of a revitalized new look for their branding and a complete overhaul of their robust website. We started with the logo, putting together concepts that utilized geometric shapes to symbolize the pillars of the organization. After very close collaboration between both teams, we landing on an bold icon that uses overlapping circles as both shape and texture within the letters, a clean and modern, yet unique font and an eye-catching color palette. We then took those brand elements and utilized them throughout various applications including subsidiary logos for the organization’s smaller programs, marketing designs, and a completely new and improved website.
